May Baby Bank Appeal:
May is the month in which Catholics show special devotion and give honour to Mary.
Back in 2021, Fr Tony thought a way our parish could honour Mary in May would be to do something that would benefit mothers who need help caring for their baby during the pandemic.
Thus, the first baby bank appeal in the parish took place and has continued every May.
Each year, the appeal has been extremely successful and this year will be the 4th appeal we’ve done in May for a baby bank.
We are doing it this year for the Catholic Care baby bank called Gianna Baby Bank.
It is headquartered in Bradford but helps families all over our area.
Throughout the month of May, please consider donating a new baby item by bringing it to the sacristy in either one of our churches.
They will be collected at the end of the month.
