Fr Anthony Rosso

Fr Anthony Rosso is the parish priest of Our Lady & St Joseph in Keighley.

Greetings!

Thank you for visiting our website for the Parish of Our Lady and St. Joseph. My name is Fr. Tony Rosso and I became the parish priest of the parish in Summer 2020. I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself.

I was born and raised in the U.S., but I moved to Canada at the age of 19 to attend University. After finishing university, I made the decision to become a priest and was sent to the Venerable English College in Rome for seminary. I lived at the English College for nearly seven years while studying at both the Gregorian and Angelicum Universities.

I had originally intended to stay in Canada, but God had other plans! Early on in my formation, I felt God calling me to make the move across the pond and joined the Diocese of Leeds in beautiful Yorkshire.

After ordination, I served as assistant priest at parishes in Huddersfield and Bradford (as well as the Catholic chaplain to the Bradford hospital trust) before the bishop asked me to be the parish priest of the beautiful parish of Our Lady and St Joseph in Haworth and Keighley.

It is a delight to serve the people of this parish!

God Bless,

Father Tony
