Day 6 of Parish Pilgrimage –
This has been our last day on pilgrimage to Rome. Tomorrow morning we head back to the UK. Today, we went to the beautiful town of Castel Gandolfo on Lake Albano to see the beautiful gardens at the Apostolic Palace where the popes have a summer residence. After a wonderful lunch in the papal gardens, we went back to Rome and visited St Paul’s Basilica where we celebrated Mass and prayed before the relics of St Paul. We also celebrated Chris and Bernardine’s 10th wedding anniversary and they renewed their vows at the basilica. Mass was offered for the parish and you were all prayed for!
