GROWING OLD GRACE-FULLY is looking for an energetic self-starter to work on a freelance basis supporting the development of our project, started 10 years ago, working with older people across the Diocese of Leeds.
The project takes an holistic approach to the needs of older people, whilst focusing primarily on the spiritual dimension of their lives.
The work of the project has embraced a wide range of topics, notably including a widely-circulated parish pack.
The appointee will build upon this work.
S/he will be an experienced organiser with excellent communication skills, a good understanding of the needs of older people and sympathy with the ethos of the Catholic Church.
The project has funding for a part-time role, working 14 hours per week(or monthly equivalent) at £18 per hour plus travel expense.
We have funding initially for a one year contract but anticipate being able to secure additional funds.
The closing date is November 22nd 2019. Interviews will be held on December 6th.
