The Congregation for Worship in Rome has confirmed the request of the Bishops of England & Wales that the Feast of the Epiphany is restored to the 6th January and the Feast of the Ascension is also restored to the Thursday after the sixth Sunday of Easter.
These take effect from next year.
Both these Feasts remain a Holy Day of Obligation.
