Fr Dennis’ Silver Jubilee.
As many of you know this year is Fr Dennis’ Silver Jubilee Celebration.
It is hoped that the celebration will begin with Holy Mass on Friday 16th June at 7 pm followed by a celebration in St Joseph’s School Hall afterwards.
A small group of Parishioners from Our Lady of Lourdes & St Joseph have met to discuss the arrangements for the event.
For catering purposes, there is a list at the back of both Our Lady of Lourdes & St Joseph’s Churches for you to add
your name to if you would like to come to the gathering afterwards in the School Hall.
As you can imagine catering for a large number of people is quite tricky so here’s where we need your help!
If everyone contributes a little bit it could turn out to be one great celebration!
With this in mind, a board will be placed at the back of
each Church giving a list of food to be contributed.
Please take a ticket off the board which states the item you would like to make/buy. I realise this probably sounds clear as mud but there will be people with the board to help you along!
At St Joseph’s Church there will be Kath Kennedy or Jackie Binns and at Our Lady of Lourdes, there will be Tony Nolan or Shelia Butler.
Please note the people already named are not the only people who are to be involved.
