Christmas Offering:
Priests receive a small salary every year and the collections taken at Christmas are a substantial part of the annual taxable income of a parish priest.
Priests are responsible for paying for their own car, phone, travel, and other living expenses and your support in this collection helps your parish priest immensely.
Giving to the Christmas collection is also an opportunity to support the parish too since the offering can be gift-aided and the gift-aid is retained by the parish.
You can also give on Christmas using the card machine.
If you wish to make an offering by direct bank transfer, please reference the donation as ‘Christmas Offering.’
Thank you for your support and please keep all our priests, past and present, in your prayers.
