STATIONS OF THE CROSS SERVICES
Stations is a way of meditating upon the passion of Christ. Stations of the Cross services will take place
every Friday during Lent at St Joseph’s at 6:00pm, as well as on Good Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes,
Haworth.

OUR LADY AND ST JOSEPH’S PARISH YOUTH LENTEN RETREAT DAY AT ST JOSEPH’S – 26 MARCH
This is for children and teens aged 8-17 and will be from 12pm to 5pm. The day will be filled with activities
and be a way for young people to make the most of Lent and journey towards Easter.

EASTER TRIDUUM – 6-9 APRIL
As the season of Lent concludes, we begin the most sacred three days of the year: Holy Thursday, Good
Friday, and Easter. People often assume Christmas is the most holy day of the year for Christians, but
Easter Sunday is our most important and holy day. Below is the Parish’s Triduum schedule:
Holy Thursday – 6 April:
7:00pm Mass at St Joseph’s Church. Mass is followed by adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until 9:00pm
Good Friday – 7 April:
3:00pm Celebration of the Lord’s Passion at St. Joseph’s Church
6:30pm Stations of the Cross Service at Our Lady of Lourdes
Easter Vigil – 8 April:
7:00pm St Joseph’s Church – The Easter Vigil Mass has to coincide with sunset, so the time is slightly later
than the usual Vigil Mass.
