Our Lady of Lourdes First Confession and First Communion Programme

Quite a few children in our parish who attend Our Lady of Lourdes have not been able to make their 1st Confession and/or 1st Communion due to Covid or not being able to attend a preparation programme in the local Catholic Schools.

To ensure no children miss out on receiving these sacraments, starting in September, we will provide a preparation program in Haworth for children in that part of the parish.

We ask parents of children who attend Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, who have not received these sacraments (and from September who are in Year 3 or higher) to please contact stevevkelly@blueyonder.co.uk or text 07790 464096so we can gauge numbers in order to purchase books, etc.

The children will make their 1st confession in Lent and their 1st Communion at a ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes Church sometime next June.
