Mass of Thanksgiving for the Past and Prayer for the Future –
Fr O’Keeffe’s Diamond Jubilee of Priesthood:
The Mass will be on Thursday 16th June at 7:00pm in St Joseph’s Church.
As most of you will know, Fr O’Keeffe served our parish community for over 25 years.
He is now celebrating 60 years in the priesthood.
We can’t let this spectacular achievement go unnoticed without a celebration of thanksgiving.
We are planning on having a celebratory Mass, followed by light refreshments in the sacristy.
If you would like to attend, please put your name on the list at the back of church and indicate if you will be staying for the refreshments (to help with catering purposes).
Donations for Fr O’Keeffe would be gratefully received and can be give to Mary Cryer or Kathleen Kennedy.
There will be a short practice of the hymns at 6:30pm before Fr O’Keeffe’s Anniversary Mass.
