Members of the Parish St Vincent de Paul Society were joined by the ‘Mini-Vini’s (Young SVP Members from St Joseph’s School) and children from Holy Family School on Tuesday, to provide Christmas lunch and entertainment to 30 elderly Parishioners at the Keighley Rugby Club.
It was a huge success. The funds raised at the recent Parish Christmas Fair went towards the cost of this event. The ‘Mini Vini’s took the effort to create packages of tea and biscuits to give to each of the guests. The children from Holy Family School, who will be going to Lourdes next year, did the role of waiting on the guests serving out the meals.
